Rick RoverExecutive Vice President of Operations
Rick Rover is an operations executive with 12 years of startup and corporate experience in developing, marketing and managing new products, procedures and facilities. He co-founded MailExpress, designed its national distribution network, and manages field operations, automation, logistics and operational development. Prior to joining MailExpress, Rick participated in the startup of SmartMail, Inc., an early expedited mail service, where he developed standard operating procedures, software specifications, process improvements and new products. He also served as Operational Vice President, responsible for East Coast facilities, and as Vice President of Business Development, working closely with the U.S. Postal Service. Throughout his time in the mailing and shipping industry, Rick has cultivated expertise and relationships in the postal and shipping communities. He has been involved with the U.S. Postal Service at local and at national levels while with SmartMail, dealing with headquarters policy and personnel. He is a recognized speaker at such industry trade organizations and functions. Rick began his career at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), where he designed and tested software for a large national bank. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology. |
